Jay Davis is a music composer, arranger, DJ and producer that has worked in the music industry (starting as a performing artist) since 1991. He became a professional producer in 2012 when he formed the singing group "Somethin' 4 The Fellas (S4TF)", which he took on the roles of producer, songwriter and manager. He recorded and produced his first album for S4TF in 2014 at the Sonic Ranch Studios and collaborated with industry veterans David Garza, Johnny McGee (of L.T.D.) and Manuel Calderon. Subsequent projects had him team up with David Garza in the studio for background vocal engineering for "Ozomatli" in their song "Marching On" and Manuel Calderon for a number of projects produced and released under his own brand (DJ Blaquestalyon), including the recording and vocal production for the soundtrack to video game "Shaqfu: A Legend Reborn", in collaboration with Steve Molitz. He has also produced records at Sonic Ranch for a number of local artists in the El Paso metropolitan area, introducing the little known treasure that is the largest residential studio in the United States to local artists.
